Inspiration

The Shongololo Collection takes its name from one of Africa’s most fascinating little creatures—the millipede. The name comes from the Xhosa and Zulu word ukushonga, meaning “to roll up.” With its rhythmic movement and striking striped body, the shongololo is a symbol of adaptability and resilience—qualities every loyal companion embodies. After all, a good dog is always ready to roll with you.

Materials and Care

• Leather and rope collar made with double strands of rope with full colourful whipping and hand-painted edge-stained leather.
• Solid brass buckle and D-ring.
• While this item loves the sun and can go for a swim (even in salt water), please wear with care.
• Hand wash in cold water with gentle detergent, avoiding soaking the leather. To maintain the leather, treat with leather care products.
• For a deep clean, it can be machine washed occasionally—place the item in a laundry bag to prevent brass fittings from damaging your machine.
• If polishing the brass fitting, be mindful of touching the rope to avoid staining.
