Our Around The Block Leashes and Hands-Free Leashes are full of knots! But that’s on purpose.
The knots can be adjusted to fit your dog’s neck or the activity you’ve got planned. Our Hands-Free Leashes have knots on the ‘human end’ as well so you can adjust the leash to fit around or across your body. These leashes are great for runs – including coffee runs.

Chommies products are handmade with love which can occasionally result in manufacturing defects. If you discover one of these defects during the 6-month warranty period (which runs from the date of purchase), we will happily repair the product for you.
Simply drop the product off at The Chommies Studio (find the location here) or courier it back to us at your own cost.
In certain instances (like your dog chewing a leash or collar) the repairs will not fall under the warranty. If this is the case, you can get in touch with us hereand we’ll assess the damage and get back to you with a quote.
When it's time for a new size or colour, you can bring back your well-loved Chommies pieces and we’ll refresh them for you. We’ll clean, re-whip, and polish your products before returning them to you good as new – you can even choose new colours!
Because the brass fittings are the most expensive part of our products, reusing your current fittings is a cheaper and more sustainable option than buying new. Contact us here to book your product in for a refresh.
Our products are handmade with love so it sometimes takes us a little longer to restock popular pieces. Be sure to click the ‘Notify Me’ button to be emailed when the product is restocked.
To request an exchange, please email email@example.com. Don’t forget to include your order number, location, and the reason for the exchange.
Unfortunately, our made-to-order products (O-Ring Collars and custom orders) cannot be exchanged.
To request a return, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can only return a product within 15 days of delivery if it is unused, unopened, and unworn.

Mostly golden retrievers, but we do have some labradors on the delivery team too! Jokes aside, our domestic and international shipping is fulfilled by DHL and The Courier Guy.
Good things take time and our Chommies products are good. You can check your email and messages for tracking updates.
Standard Delivery generally takes 2-5 business days but this depends on where you and your chommie are.
Overnight Delivery is typically delivered within 24 hours so you could possibly have your new gear on time for your next adventure.
Our team works hard to make sure your deliveries arrive as fast as humanly possible. However, the Chommies team has no control over timing once your package leaves our store.
We know you’re excited to receive your Chommies order, and we’re excited too! You should have received an email or SMS confirming that your order is on its way.
It takes us 2-3 days to process and pack your orders before shipping. But don’t worry, we'll send you a shipping confirmation email or SMS as soon as your order leaves our workshop.

All Chommies orders are delivered in a soft cotton or velvet drawstring bag with a handwritten postcard. If you would like to send a special note with a gifted order, please add your message at checkout.
We offer free Standard Shipping on domestic orders over R1400.
